At Better Vision New Jersey, we are always trying to make our patients’ lives easier, and happier! At our Optical Shoppe, we offer a one-stop-shop optical experience. You’ll find a variety of adult and children’s eyeglass frames, including many of the top designer brands in the industry, such as Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Ray-Ban, and Ted Baker.

We strive to offer the highest quality products at fair prices, and our dedicated staff is expertly trained in order to provide you with the latest optic technologies and best experience possible. They will guide you throughout the process, work to provide you with a custom frame fit, and give you various visual solutions to enhance your general comfort.

Our opticians will show you our wide variety of glasses and sunglasses and help you find the perfect frames for your face and style. We are also pleased to offer both standard and specialty contact lens examinations and fittings. Our team is determined to give even the most difficult to fit patients the highest quality results. Our opticians and physicians will work to meet your individual needs, and provide you with an excellent contact lens experience.

Routine eye exams will not provide some of the measurements and testing necessary to determine if your eyes are suitable for contact lens wear or create your prescription. With a specific contact lens evaluation, patients will undergo a refraction (measurement of the prescription), keratometry (measurement of the front surface of the eye), and detailed corneal evaluation via slit lamp biomicroscopy.

If you have never worn contact lenses before, don’t worry! At your appointment, we will show you how to insert, remove, and care for your new lenses.
